About

Smiles Unite Us

Our story begins when our founder, Dr. Khurram Khan was 20 years old. Recognizing the need for care among the underserved without access to dental services, he set his sights on serving the cleft lip and palate community. For the past decade, he has performed free surgeries for cleft lip and palate around the world.

At Smiles Unite Us, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adolescents born with cleft lip/ palate and other facial differences. Our organization is founded on the belief that every person deserves the chance to smile confidently and lead a healthy, fulfilling life. We provide comprehensive support, including funding for essential surgeries and medical/dental treatments, as well as offering emotional and educational resources for families.

Vision

We imagine a world where every child with a cleft lip and palate has the chance to smile brightly and live boldly. By providing care, raising awareness, and building a community of support, we turn challenges into opportunities and create lasting change—one smile at a time.

Mission

Smiles Unite Us Foundation empowers smiles both domestically and abroad by funding and providing surgical interventions for individuals with congenital and acquired facial and dental differences. Through compassionate outreach, sustainable partnerships, and innovative medical solutions, Smiles Unite Us Foundation strives to create a world where every individual has access to the resources needed for a brighter, healthier smile.
